Seneca Media Unscripted: Public Relations Spills the Tea
Students in the Public Relations program are among the most energetic on campus. They’re always busy with a project, always hustling. It’s either a press conference, or an event, or something David Turnbull has put them up to. There is certainly never a dull moment in this program. But oftentimes, what we see is only the end result. There is certainly a whole slew of things happening behind the scenes that we hardly ever hear about it.
So, what is it really like to be a student in Public Relations? What inspired them to choose this field? How do they cope with the flurry of activity, and what keeps them motivated on a daily basis? To answer these burning questions, we brought together five PR students, who took time out of their packed schedules to talk about their experiences in the program so far.
What ensued, was a lighthearted and sincere conversation where they talked about expectations vs. reality, managing their time, their future aspirations and…welding. You’re going to have to give it a listen to find out what that’s all about!
The podcast was hosted by Nilou Alizadeh, who is also a student in the program. Listen to her candid chat with Roy, Nihal, Khaleed and Aaron as they spill the tea on Public Relations at Seneca College.
